The pump needed to cool for an hour before it could be restarted. During the cool I should have drained a little oil and the water that collects in the pump before restarting. I didn't and oil sprayed out of the vent pipe. The pump was turned off, 2 - 3 tablespoons of oil was drain out and a bit was added to cover the hole. The pineapple needed a few hours extra of drying time.
